2423km is a platform for me to pursue a career in writing; a site to share my stories and random conversations.
Thank you for dropping by!
I’m a Vietnamese abroad, a writer by trade, a seasonal traveler. I created this site to share stories that I have experienced in life, especially from my days spent on the road.
Being away from my motherland makes me feel like I do not belong to anywhere anymore. So I travel places to fill that emptiness and only when I hit the road, everything starts to make sense again.
If not traveling (or working), I can be found in a bookstore. A few years back, I spent more time reading English books to learn the language and I’m trying to read one book every month, starting this year (2017).
My current reading list:
January: All the Bright Place by Jennifer Niven
February: A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
March: What Got You Here Won’t Get You There by Marshall Goldsmith
April: Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg
May: Brand, Meet Story by Heather Pemberton Levy
June: Made in America by Bill Bryson
(to be updated)
I have a huge love for Corgis, arts and technology. Besides words, my job also revolves around everything-digital. I’m interested in discussions about SEO, content marketing, web design (UX/UI) and many other tech-related fields.
Professionally, I write career guides, startup and business stories, lifestyle and travel topics. You can read my published articles here. And I’m always seeking opportunities to develop my writing skills.
